Installing TRACE describes how to install TRACE on your system.

Several tools (Additional tools) are available to help set up a TRACE computation.

TRACE simulations can be controlled in a number of ways. Generally, most control settings will be specified in the CGNS File using GMC's PRE section. These include

setup of physical properties of the fluid,
specification of initial and boundary conditions (see Input files),
choice of numerical schemes and physical models employed
control of numerical parameters, and
general output control.

More advanced features that have not been (and may never be) implemented into GMC can be set up in a control file.
