Transition Model Control

This page describes control file commands related to transition models. For instructions how to select a transition model see Turbulence Model Settings.

SetTransMinMaxIndex

Set transition minimum and maximum index. Multimode transition model will be active between specified i-indices of O-block.

Usage
SetTransMinMaxIndex <min_i> <max_i> [optionalOption]

SetLeadTrailEdge

Set range of x-coordinate for Multimode transition model to be active.

SetRadialTransitionRange

Set radial transition range. Multimode transition model will be active from min_k to max_k index.

SetBackgroundTuFactor4Entry

Set Multimode Background TurbulenceFactor for ENTRY.

Usage

UpdateTransitionModelCoefficients

Update coefficients of \(\gamma\)- \(Re_\theta\) transition model or MSC transition model. NOTE: command can only be issued at time step zero For the model formulation of \(\gamma\)- \(Re_\theta\) model see Gamma-ReTheta transition model. The model formulation of the MSC transtition model will be added soon.
