This page describes control file commands related to transition models. For instructions how to select a transition model see Turbulence Model Settings.
Set transition minimum and maximum index. Multimode transition model will be active between specified i-indices of O-block.

Set range of x-coordinate for Multimode transition model to be active.

Set radial transition range. Multimode transition model will be active from min_k
to max_k

Set Multimode Background TurbulenceFactor for ENTRY.
value | number between 0 and 1, default: 1.0 (exception: activated Quasi-unsteady wake model results in 0.5 as default) |
Set Multimode Background TurbulenceFactor for MIXINGPLANE.
value | number between 0 and 1, default: 0.5 |
Update coefficients of \(\gamma\)- \(Re_\theta\) transition model or MSC transition model. NOTE: command can only be issued at time step zero For the model formulation of \(\gamma\)- \(Re_\theta\) model see Gamma-ReTheta transition model. The model formulation of the MSC transtition model will be added soon.
